December Reminders: Meet, Make and Sew

DECEMBER MEETING:

Wednesday, December 2, 2015, 6 to 8 p.m. at Quilting Adventures, 6943 Lakeside Ave., Richmond VA 23228

GIFT SWAP:

Please bring a 12″ or less quilted item for a gift swap at December’s meeting. Be creative and be modern!

DUES:

Dues are due at or by our December meeting. Dues are $30 for 2016. We take cash or a check made payable to CVA MQG.

SURVEYS:

Turn in your surveys to the Program Committee. You can email a copy of your responses to this email address: cvamqg@gmail.com If you need a survey, send a message to the same email address and we’ll send you one.

A SEW SEW DAY:

Our next scheduled Sew Day is Sunday, December 6, 2015, from noon to 5 p.m. at Quilting Adventures.

We are the Central Virginia Modern Quilt Guild

We gathered at Adrent Craft Ales in Richmond, Virginia on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, and signed out By-Laws. We are the Central Virginia Modern Quilt Guild.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, December 2, 6-8 p.m. at Quilting Adventures.

In 2016, we will meet the First Tuesday of each month at Quilting Adventures from 6-8 p.m.

Pink Shirts Quilt Raffle

The Pink Shirts Quilt is ready. It will be displayed at Quilting Adventures beginning October 6, 2015.

If you don’t live nearby, you can receive tickets ($5 minimum donation) through the mail:

A Sew Sew Day

WE’VE scheduled A SEW SEW DAY to assembly the Pink Shirts. We’ll meet at Quilting Adventures beginning around 10:00 a.m. and work until we have a complete wardrobe. The shop closes at 6:00 p.m.
